Olivier Tardy will become chief conductor of the Brandenburg Symphony Orchestra (Brandenburger Symphoniker), succeeding Prof. Peter Gülke.
The Chief Conductor Designate, Olivier Tardy, is already planning the 2020/21 season, in which he will conduct numerous concerts. He will already be heard in Brandenburg an der Havel at the 1st symphony concert on 11 and 12 September 2020.
As of the 2021/22 season, he will fully assume the duties of chief conductor and his contract will initially run until the end of the 2024/25 seasonOlivier Tardy et les musiciens de l'Orchestre Symphonique de Brandebourg travaillent régulièrement ensemble depuis 2015. Olivier Tardy and the musicians of the Brandenburg Symphony Orchestra have been working together for many years since 2015, and he has inspired both the Brandenburg Symphony Orchestra and the audience in multiple concert experiences.
