At the concert on October 8, 2016, from Munich’s Prinzregententheater, worlds collided that mutually inspired each other artistically. In this setting, Dreiviertelblut, the Munich project led by Gerd Baumann & Sebastian Horn, navigated through the highs and lows of existence with their compositions dealing with love, celebration, loneliness, and death. The Munich Symphony Orchestra transferred this unique blend of deep Bavarian darkness and detached poetry into fascinating orchestral spheres through their playful power and willingness to experiment.
